Mykelle's Nine Months

We've been thinking about doing a blog for a while and finally started it today! Hopefully everyone can forgive us for not doing it sooner than Mykelle's nine-month birthday. She's even more cute now and getting more fun, so now you'll get to start enjoying more frequent pictures and stories of her with us!

We went to the Plumper Pumpkin Farm today to get a couple pumpkins to carve. Mykelle looks just a little smaller than this 423 lb. and 115" around the waist pumpkin we placed her next to. She weighed 18 lbs. 3.5 oz at her well-baby appointment this week (40%) and was 26.75'' (25%) long.

Nicole bought a "ballerina" skirt for Mykelle. Doesn't Mykelle look like she's ready to get up and start dancing around?


So we haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet and put Mykelle in huge bows, but we got this one as a gift when Mykelle was born. It matched her new outfit, and she even had little polka dotted shoes to match (that she finally fits in!), so Nicole just had to dress Mykelle up for the fun of it. Mykelle just looked too cute to resist though to take the bow off (at least for the pictures!)
