Happy Halloween!

Mykelle got to go trunk or treating at our ward Halloween party Friday night. She really liked her kitty costume; I don't think I say this out of bias, but she really says "meow" in the cutest way I've ever heard! (Just ask our neighbors; they love seeing Mykelle outside looking for Bobby, our neighbor's cat, because she says "meow" so cute!) She was a little overwhelmed with all the kids running around at the party, but I think she was getting the hang of getting treats by the end of it.
We carved a pumpkin last night, which Mykelle enjoyed doing until we lit the candle in the pumpkin and turned out the light...I guess we picked too scary of a face!

Our Newest Arrival

We have another beautiful little girl in our family! Hailey Marie was born on October 22nd weighing 7 lb. 9 oz. and measuring 19.5'' long. She is such a great baby! She hardly ever cries, sleeps really well, and when she is awake, loves to just observe everything! We are so glad she is here!
Mykelle is doing really adjusting to the new baby so far. It definitely helps having Grandma Gibb around to play with Mykelle! Mykelle loves holding Hailey, giving her hugs and kisses--during which she says, "oohh", and she especially loves waking up and seeing Hailey in her room. This morning we were woken up by Mykelle saying "Hailey, Hailey, Hailey, Hi Hailey" over and over.
At the hospital
Hailey gets to sleep on Mykelle's toddler bed because Mykelle doesn't want to leave her crib. We set it up for Mykelle in September, and while she plays on it all the time, if we ask her if she wants to take a nap or sleep in her big girl bed, she starts crying. We're hoping Hailey sleeping on it during the night will make Mykelle want to switch beds before Hailey starts rolling!
We're so lucky to have two little girls now!
